Misty taught at Trinity for many years, teaching tumbling, combo, ballet, and jazz. Misty enjoys working with kids and watching them grow in their love of dance.
Misty has been the Director for the Durant High School Sparklers for the last eleven years, where she has choreographed many field shows as well as routines in pom, jazz, and lyrical. Under her direction, the Sparklers have won numerous awards and have competed in many different states, including Texas, Tennessee, Missouri, and Florida.
When not dancing, Misty enjoys her church, spending time with her family, being a Loli to her grandkids, Lydia, Sophia, and C.J., and helping her husband, Rodney of twenty-five years, with their two restaurants.
